Harlequins Ladies – The Game Changer – The Twickenham Stoop Stadium – Saturday 30th March, kick-off 2pm
Harlequins have launched The Game Changer, which is intended to be a long standing name in the years ahead and our statement of intent to keep driving the Women’s game forward and impact on Women’s Sport in general. It also celebrates the Club’s players and coaches who are changing the landscape of Women’s Rugby all whilst balancing careers or pursuing full-time higher education; as well as many who are serving members of the Military or in the Emergency Services. Last year Harlequins broke the UK Club record for crowd attendance, attracting 4545 people to the Stoop and the Club are aiming to break the attendance record once again. Harlequins have 10 Internationals all competing in the current 6 Nations for England, Scotland and Ireland and have Internationals from the USA, Australia and Sweden in the wider squad as well as some of the best up and coming talent in the League.
Harlequins Game Changer campaign video filmed at the Twickenham Stoop, featuring Head Coach Karen Findlay (Chief Superintendent, MET Police) and players Shaunagh Brown (Firefighter & England International) and Dr Zoe Saynor (PhD and Senior Lecturer, Portsmouth University) can be found here and portrays what our players and coaches are achieving on and off the field.
The Game Changer will be a great showcase of some of the best talent in the Tyrrells Premier 15s and a huge game for both teams, with Harlequins playing for the chance to host a home semi-final play-off and Gloucester-Hartpury pushing for a spot in the top 4 of the League to reach the play-offs. The day itself will have a host of other entertainment across the Stoop as well as the match itself and is a great day out for all the family.
Tickets are £10 for Adults and £5 for Under 16s and can be purchased here.
