Middlesex Sports Foundation
The Middlesex Sports Foundation is a registered charity which helps children, young people, people with disabilities or those suffering financial hardship, through grant funding and the provision of education and training.
Its objectives are to advance the education of children and young people through sport and recreational activity – in particular through the promotion of rugby football – and to promote the relief of disabled and injured sports men and women. It provides social welfare and recreation facilities and promotes community participation.
Grant requests are considered from individuals or other sporting charities whose objectives and ambitions match its own.
The charity originates from a merger in 2007 of the Middlesex CRFU Memorial Fund and the Wavell Wakefield Youth Trust.
